Santa photo mini-sessions & studio appearances
Short, sweet, camera-ready sessions with an authentic Santa in a custom-made suit. Shorter lines, happier kids.
How mini-sessions run
- Timed slots keep lines short and moods bright.
- Studio and pop-up appearances.
- A real white beard and a handcrafted custom suit that photograph the way kids picture Santa.
- Families should arrive a few minutes early, since sessions run in set time slots.
For photographers and businesses
Santa partners with local photographers and pop-up hosts. Tell us your date, location and slot length, and we'll work out the session plan with you.
Pricing
Photo mini-sessions start at $200 for the first hour in Pickering and Ajax, with travel included. Extra time is $90 for every 30 minutes. Whitby, Oshawa and Durham Region add $30, and Toronto and the wider GTA add $60. Prices are before applicable taxes. Use the rate estimator for a quick estimate.
Child-first photo guidelines
- Children choose. No child is ever pressured to sit on a lap. They can stand beside Santa or wave from nearby.
- A parent or guardian stays in the room or in sight at all times.
- Photos are taken by you or your photographer. Santa does not photograph or post images of children.
- Please ask before posting images that include other people's children.
Photo session questions
What are your photo safety rules?
Every photo is child-first and comfort-first. Children choose: no child is ever pressured, and they can sit on a lap, stand beside Santa or wave from nearby. A parent or guardian stays in the room or in sight at all times. Photos are taken by you or your photographer, and Santa does not photograph or post images of children. Mini-sessions run in set time slots, so please arrive a few minutes early. Please ask before posting images that include other people's children.
Is the beard really real?
Absolutely. Santa has a real white beard and wears an authentic custom-made suit. Kids (and curious grown-ups) are welcome to take a good look.
How early should we book Santa?
As soon as you know your date. Weekends in November and December go first, and Christmas Eve is usually the first date to fill. We recommend booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead for the best choice of times. Last-minute? Send an inquiry anyway, because cancellations do happen.
How do I get a final quote?
Use the rate estimator for a quick estimate, then send a booking inquiry with your date, location and event type. You'll receive a confirmed quote and availability by email. Pricing depends on the type of event, how long Santa stays and where you are, and special requests or unusual locations can change the final price.
